To develop proficiency in the subject of mathematics, the following conditions are required to be accomplished by students or anybody who wants to develop his capability of doing mathematical calculations:

There are various ways of increasing the proficiency in mathematical calculations and even onlypractice can help in this direction. There are other means like knowing the techniques of Vedic Mathematics. By doing Vedic Mathematics one can increase his capacity to do mathematical calculations faster. However, only by knowing the Vedic mathematics formulas one may not be able to increase the speed of
their calculation. For real increase in speed of calculation one has to increase the speed of his processor (In the brain). When the processor works faster along with remembering and applying the formulas one can definitely increase his speed of calculation.

The students need to develop the speed of their processor by undergoing a specific process of doing calculations. “Speed Addition” is a process by which students can increase their speed of doing calculations considerably. The operation of “Addition” is used in most of the mathematical operations and so it becomes a building block for increasing the speed of their mathematical calculations involving any operation.
